Who can apply?

The eVisa covers dozens of nationalities, and some residents of the GCC, the UK, the US and the Schengen area may also qualify depending on their visas. Lists published online disagree, so run your own passport through the official platform, which gives a definite answer.

What do I need?

  • A passport valid for at least six months
  • A digital photo
  • A card to pay the fee
  • An address for your stay, such as a first hotel

How much does it cost?

Recent published totals range from about SAR 395 to SAR 535, with mandatory medical insurance included. The amount at checkout is the one that counts. Use only the official platform, because copycat sites add large fees.

Can I perform Umrah on it?

Yes, outside the Hajj season, as long as you also book a permit in Nusuk. You cannot perform Hajj on a tourist visa.

What should I know before travel?

Visa entry may be limited in the weeks before Hajj, particularly for travel to Makkah. If your dates fall in that period, check before booking flights. Overstaying brings fines.
