Checked against official sources: November 2026
How do I register?
- Countries with a Hajj mission: apply through your national Hajj authority or its approved agents, under your country's quota.
- Countries served by Nusuk Hajj: register and book through the official platform.
- Saudi citizens and residents: use the domestic Hajj registration when it opens each year.
Can I use a visit or tourist visa?
No. In recent seasons, the authorities have stopped people without Hajj permits from entering Makkah and the holy sites. Reported penalties include fines of up to SAR 20000, deportation and a future entry ban. Offers of cheap Hajj on a visit visa are a known scam.
